Ink Me Baby!

So yes, most of you have seen my facebook posts on me wanting some new ink...and if you haven't seen it, then why are you not paying attention?!! (kidding). Yes, it has been 3 years since I got a tattoo- last one being the tramp stamp on my back (don't you just love that term?!). I have been wanting a new one for a while and I have finally decided on my right wrist. I want some stars..I have seen so many girls with a cluster of stars either on their necks, shoulders, or wherever and I have to say that I really like LOVE them. So, I want 4 stars- you could call them a "family" of stars because in essence I am getting them for my family- 4 stars, one for each of us..me, daddy, sammy and emmy. It was between the stars and an AWESOME cupcake tattoo (Yes, I love them that much that I would TOTALLY have one inked on) design, but I have chosen to go with the stars and save the cupcake for next time. So....later this month the husband and kids and myself are headed up to DC (or the general area) to visit my very best little friend, Stephanie and her precious little family-ok, so the purpose of the visit is the Rascal Flatts concert- anywho, she and I are gonna go get our new ink together, because she wants a new tat as well! yay! Someone to talk to me and keep my mind off of the needle that will be oh so close to my veins. Even though the tentative date for said inking is about 2 1/2 weeks away, I have totally over-thought it and my mind is prepared for the worst pain possible. I am so sick with nervousness I couls seriously throw up when I think about it anymore..LOL (but totally not kidding). However, I am totally dedicated to getting it, it's nothing I will regret and nothing I am not sure of. I am just all nerves over the pain that will insue into my wrist. I have even gone so far as to hunt the world of YOUTUBE over to see said videos of people getting tattoos---specifically WRIST tattoos. I have to say, what I have seen so far does calm my nerves a bit, because atleast I see no one is CRYING..so, that makes me feel a bit better. Maybe a shot of tequila and a xanex will help me that day...haha. So, I am still looking for a design I love, but I want something similar to the picture I am attaching--note I said SIMILAR because quite frankly this chick's tattoo kinda sucks on several levels--but you get the idea.

Finally!

So I did it. I told you I would. I had thought about it, attempted it and tried it a while back but just wasn't excited about blogging with blogspot.com, so here I am at Wordpress, and I am excited. I love Facebook, don't get me wrong, however I have so much random things to say and post about that I am sure all those people really do not care somestimes...so I guess this blog is just for those who find me interesting LOL....So, by the title of my blog (ok and the fact that you know where to find my blog- you know me)- you know that I am all about all things cupcake. And why shouldn't I be? How can you NOT love cupcakes?! Everything about them just makes me happy. You can't look at a cupcake and not feel all happy inside! They are perfect. They are small, they are sweet, they are satisfying, they are everything that I am! Perfecto! So, not to mention that I am the self-professed queen of cupcakes-I am really good at making them. I love to create new flavors of icing, love to experiment with them and decorate them but most of all, I love the look on someone's face when they taste it and they gasp and are saying "Oh my gosh, this is the best thing I have ever eaten". Yeah, I love it. I love to spend time online looking at new recipes, looking at pics of cupcakes, because let me tell you--there are some cute cute cute pics of cupcakes out there that people have made and I LOVE looking at them! So, you better be sure, you will see them here once in a while. Though I really love taking pics of my own too! So, now you know all about my cupcake fetish and how much I love them. Stay tuned to my blog because not only will I share new pics of my cupcakes, I will just have general randomness and anyone who knows me knows that it can be quite entertaining!
